National-Level Rules:

USSSA Illinois events are dictated by the USSSA rulebook (link provided below) as distributed by the USSSA each new year. The USSSA sanction events under these rules in order to provide a level of consistency from state-to-state. USSSA Illinois follows the National Rulebook.

State-Level Rules:

While USSSA Illinois is dictated by the national rulebook, from year-to-year, there are some additions/subtractions/exceptions. The State Director(s) will implement such modifications & distribute them throughout the state over a season. Event directors & coaches receive these modifications directly.

Event-Level Rules:

These are rules that are based within both the USSSA National Rulebook as well as USSSA Illinois modifications (if any). They are at the discretion of the event-provider & are mostly gameplay rules. Gameplay rules tend to vary, depending uponevent format.

Equipment Rules:

These are rules included but not limited to:

• Bats

• Bat Stamps

• Uniforms

• Game Gear

• Etc.
